Philosophy

At Treehouse, curiosity grows. Every day is filled with awe and wonder.

As a Montessori-Reggio-inspired school, we provide a unique approach with individualized learning for each child along with nature inspired group activities. We follow the belief that the child, parent, community and environment are all essential to the early years learning process.

We take pride in our fantastic outdoor spaces with tailor-made playgrounds. Being outdoors and immersing in nature is an integral part of our philosophy, Children enjoy gardening, sandbox and lots of other activities that fuel their curiosity.

The Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches both emphasize a profound respect for each child as an individual, recognizing the child’s natural curiosity and potential. Both approaches highlight the significance of the learning environment and prioritize child-led learning, with educators acting as facilitators rather than instructors.

Mindful behavior

We weave kindness and compassion in our daily routine. We help them understand why kindness matters and what it means to be compassionate. Diversity in age, race, and ability is present in our classrooms. We are all unique and we set to celebrate differences, this helps to foster an environment of respect and responsibility.

We believe that children who learn to manage their emotions early on grow into confident, well-balanced adults. Each day begins with stretching, breathwork, and cultivating self-awareness, helping children connect with themselves and foster mindfulness toward others and their environment.
